This bird of prey measures around 45-55 cm in length and has a wingspan of approximately 115-135 cm. It is named after its distinctive white eye, which contrasts with its dark plumage. The upperparts are typically brown or black, while the underparts are lighter with streaks or bars. White-eyed Buzzards are skilled hunters, feeding primarily on small mammals, reptiles, and birds. They are known for their soaring flight and are often seen perched on treetops or utility poles, scanning the surroundings for prey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
White-eyed Buzzard is a summer breeding visitor to Corbett Tiger Reserve.
